Text parsing

• count word frequencies: will split on whitespace and count how often each word occurs
• one word per line: will take each line as one word and count, words are truncated after 50 characters
• word-frequency pairs: expects a word or group of words followed by a frequency value on each line, words are truncated after 50 characters. If the frequency value is missing it defaults to 1.
• json format: expects text to be json-format, e.g. {"word1": 3, "word2": 1}
• use every word, random size:every word will be in the wordcloud (duplicates possible), size of the words is random

Common English or German words, 1-letter-expressions, urls and email addresses are filtered out.

Text between quotes as one word: if one occurrence of a multi-word group is put between quotation marks ("), it will be regarded as one word throughout the text

Compaction

Bigger values give the words more space to be placed. If there is a lot of space, there is less restraint for them to stay within the elliptical or rectangular shape. If there is too little space, some words do not fit in the shape and are placed randomly on the sides. Also, placement will take longer if the compaction value is small.
